Growing up in Hartford CT, was rough. Especially back in the day when gang culture was heavy. You had so many different ways to go wrong as a kid it was tough remaining focused. I found my peace and self through music. I’ve lost so many friends and family to violence or just tragedies. The most ironic thing is the nickname of the city is Heart Beat. It took me a while to figure out why. I mean I see so much life and potential just within my area it’s exciting. The culture here is like the illest I’ve ever seen because of the mixture of cultures. No one has ever truly untied CT. I think that unity would make u into a force. For me I get love every where I go i think thats mainly based off of just connecting with people on a real level. Always showing love and making sure people are OK. Trying to give encouraging words. That’s just me as a person praying with people telling them about my faith and my walk. I see the hate but I choose not focus on it because there’s hate all over the world. I really just dwell on LOVE and support.
Being a lover people tend to think you’re weak. I’ve always said I’m not gonna give anyone the power over me to change my energy I just remain the same me. Being that I threw partys I’m cool and casual with a lot of promoters and DJS and Club owners. People ask me all the Tyme like why havnt such and such dj played your song or shouted you out. They might ask why hasn’t such and such person supported you. Honestly at first it use to get to me im human. I got to a point where I just leave everything to GOD. Like it’s not my responsibility to question why isnt this happening it’s my job to make GOOD CONTENT and eventually people will catch on. Just stop waiting for it to happen and make it happen. I never let that make me bitter i am love . “Tyme is for the girls and Tyme is love”
